Illinois' New Boutique Destination for the Most Discerning Brides!

I have just returned from an absolutely delightful weekend at the new Fiancee' Couture Boutique in Frankfort, IL. Located conveniently just south of Chicago, this new boutique is destined to be *the* destination location for each discerning mid-western bride-to-be in search of her dream wedding gown! 

The boutique's proprietor, Maria Isabel, formerly a Venezuelan citizen, has spent her last decade in the US creating beauty in her world in spite of times of personal crisis. A lovely tribute to her creativity, strength, and perseverance as shared by her husband can be found in an article announcing the recent grand opening of Fiancee' Couture. Maria has already established her reputation for innovative creativity in the world of fashion and wedding photography, and she is clearly poised to expand the expression of her expertise in the world of bridal fashion.

Maria has gathered the gown collections of internationally-acclaimed designers in a gorgeous, warm, and welcoming setting. My personal favorite, Katerina Bocci, is offering her gowns exclusively to the Chicago area at Fiancee Couture. I wish more shots of Maria's new boutique turned out well enough to share, but a few of some of the fun are below!

Maestro Designer, Katerina Bocci, is working her magic with one of FC's brides in the shot below. Every bride-to-be deserves the undivided attention of a master designer who can work with her to realize her vision. I have had the pleasure of watching Katerina work with clients for several years now and can confidently share that she is indeed a maestro in orchestrating the customization of her elegant and unsurpassed gown designs to meet the needs of the individual bride. DSP Fotographie Client Appreciation Party - Thursday, September 15th

We are honored and pleased to be a part of this upcoming event. Meghan Martini of DSP Fotographie has brought together wedding and special occasion vendors that are unrivaled in the metro Detroit area for their excellence in design and service to clients.

Breeziway will be introducing new accessory designs on the runway (models styled by Runway Salon & Spa) and exhibit area. So, please, plan to be with us for this special evening that promises Breeziway glitzy fun, spectacular street high fashion (Eden Revolution), bridal gown glamour (Katerina Bocci), delectable eats and drinks offered in an elegant ambiance (Tre Monti Ristorante), and entertainment by two top local talents. Oh my! I just realized that we have not shared photos from last month's fabulous runway show at the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club. The evening was magical with the extraordinary talent of gown designer, Katerina Bocci, Runway Salon and Spa stylists, and the lovely models.

Katerina invited us to provide headpieces and other accessories for the runway. We were more than delighted to play a role in this event and used the opportunity to debut some of our new jewelry designs. Enjoy the show!

Grosse Pointe Yacht Club Katerina Bocci Fashion Show. . .

Today involves the final day of prep for the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club Katerina Bocci fashion show. . . We are not noted on the handbill, but Breeziway will nonetheless be present in an array of special occasion accessories to be worn by the models (styled by Runway Salon & Spa).

The show will feature some of the headpiece designs made exclusively for the Fall 2011 Katerina Bocci Bridal Collection as debuted at New York International Bridal Week last October, as well as several new designs for brides and others inspired by gorgeous Bocci silk suits and evening gowns. Some of the items in our new crystal-encrusted jewelry collection will be introduced at this show, and we are very excited to be able to participate. Photos and availability of this new collection will follow the show!

Life has been quite gloomy in Michigan lately. We sure could use some sunshine to help make the studio *pop* with the glimmer and shimmer of these designs.

Tika Designs Captured by Hillebrand Photography for Wedding Style & Inside Weddings Magazines

It is such a pleasure to be touched by the talents of local artists. Our friend & amazing designer, Katerina Bocci, recently contracted a local photographer for a photo shoot of some of the gowns in her 2011 Bridal Collection. Selections from this shoot are featured in the current issues of Grace Ormonde's Wedding Style and Inside Wedding magazines. We were honored to be able to contribute several headpieces that were designed specifically for Katerina's gowns, so the photos also feature our Tika headpiece.

The prodigious photos below were created by Gabe and Jennifer Hillebrand of Hillebrand Photography. Their techniques captured the lovely, levitated model in mid-movement, so we experience the lightness of being that characterizes even the grandest of Katerina's ball gown designs, the Tika. I love the fluid expression of her designs. Can you imagine how you would look on your wedding day in this marvelous creation?
