Two headpiece designs that were inspired by bridal gowns in this season's spectacular Katerina Bocci collection were featured in the most recent Metro Detroit Bride Magazine. Foggy Bottom Boutique & Breeziway Collaborative Show coming soon!

Plans are underway for a trunk and fashion show to feature a comprehensive line of Breeziway pieces specifically designed for the extensive designer prom and bridal collections at the Foggy Bottom Ladies Boutique. The 'Red collection' for this show was featured in entries earlier this week. We are now poised to create an array of colorful designs to debut in Wichita very soon. If you are a mid-West gal, please, let us know if you are interested in attending the show. We will make sure you are made aware of the final details.

Passion Red Collection - #3

As mentioned previously. . . it was a delight to make new friends in Wichita, Kansas the first week of January; the owner of Foggy Bottom Boutique, her family, staff, and friends. We are excited about our new collaboration, which will be initiated with a big show event later this winter. Foggy Bottom is a designated Top 10 Prom boutique, carrying a wide array of gorgeous gowns from designers such as Jovani, Tony Bowls Paris, La Femme, Night Moves by Allure, Allyce Designs, Sherri Hill, Riva Designs, Faviana and Mori Lee.

Foggy Bottom is holding a special 'Red Event' in honor of Valentine's Day. Breeziway has made several designs for gowns to be featured in this event. This entry is the first of three to preview some of these designs.

All gown photos are from the Top 10 Prom site; a marvelous place to explore! The Breeziway photos were taken quickly and before final touches, but provide the basics of each design.

Simple, elegant gowns in red, silver and crystal inspired this Breeziway design made of sparkle silver and red tulle, a dyed coquile and emu feather flower with brilliantly-sparkly Swarovski crystal and pearl stamens. Once again, the photos don't quite share what a lovely complement this headpiece will be for the gowns above. I am looking forward to seeing each of these pieces on the runway soon with these gorgeous gowns!

Orange and Red . . . such a warm, sensuous combination. Red tulle ruffles and dyed stripped hackle feathers mounted to a straw base are set afire with a gorgeous accent made of deep red, garnet and orange Swarovski crystal accent. This design would be an excellent complement with any of the vibrant gowns above.

Last, but not least, is our popular design - Raisa - a brilliant red peony made of coquile and stripped hackle feathers. . . . a sassy look for both formal and informal occasions.

The production team of Splurge! magazine in Wichita are working tonight on the page that will promote the upcoming Breeziway show in collaboration with the Foggy Bottom Ladies Boutique . I am excited to share more about this event soon!

The Breeziway design below is a red version of a headpiece and gown accent that I made for myself to wear to a benefit event last fall. Miss Oklahoma, Caitlin Taylor, really like this piece when she saw it during my recent trunk show visit in Wichita. She (a future meteorologist) thought the design looked like a hurricane and suggested we name it Katrina. So, introducing the Katrina! . . .made of curled coquile, schlappen and coque feathers with a halo spray made of stripped hackles. Swarovski crystals accent the center of this piece.

Our complementary gown accents (such as the one below) can be placed anywhere on your gown or clutch purse with either a pin backing or earth magnets that leave delicate fine fabrics undamaged.

This design is a red version of our Bridgit, customized with a pave' set Swarovski crystal accent at its base. This design is made of biot feathers that can be bent and tied as you like to create different looks.

Last, but not least, in this set of red is a customized version of our Cady made in red, black and ivory as inspired by the multi-color gowns above. This Cady is made of dyed and bleached schlappen feathers with stripped coque. Inspired by the Dragonfly - a theme throughout the Foggy Bottom Ladies Boutique - this piece is accented at the base with a Dragonfly made of clear red and AB red Swarovski crystals.

One more set of red designs to share later this week. . . They are now on their way to Wichita for the Red Event!
