Mimi Weddell, who starting in her mid-60s breezily cut a swath
as a model, actress and style setter and whose flamboyant headwear figured
prominently in “Hats Off,” a 2008 documentary about her life, died at
her home in Manhattan on Sept. 24. She was 94.
