I recently learned about the work of Pantone (North American headquarters in Carlstadt, New Jersey), the "world-renowned authority on color". They create color matching systems that standardize the communication of colors; enabling accurate recreation of colors from the design phase, to the manufacturer, retailer and customer. Pantone's Fashion Color Report for Spring, 2010 is now available, and a handy book mark provided by advertiser, Diana Komjati can be downloaded as well so you can slip it into your purse while shopping for your spring wardrobe. How sweet is that? Thanks, Diana!
My second great find this week is the visually-fun Red Carpet Awards blog; where readers can see the latest in designer apparel, the celebrities who wear them and vote for the best dressed each week. I have had so much fun at this site searching for the fresh colors in the Pantone spring palette. My favorite are below.
Turquoise . . .
Fusion Coral and Violet . . .
Fusion Coral & Amparo Blue . . .
