Decade Parade - Miniature Hat Competion April 2010
In April 2010 Hat Works, the UK's only museum dedicated to the hatting industry, hats and headwear is celebrating its 10th anniversary. In honour of this landmark birthday, the museum is inviting amateur and professional milliners to take part in a new miniature hat competion.
Competition Theme:
Seek inspiration for your hat creation at your local market. The theme is all about capturing the essence of a market place as Stockport, the home of Hat Works is also celebrating the 750th anniversary of the town's Market Charter.
Professional
* Anyone holding or studying for a professional design qualification.
* Employees and trainees working in the headwear industry
Amateur
* Open to 16 years and older
